During the 39th IIS World Congress of Sociology, 7 Special Sessions and 4 Round Table discussions will be held. The titles of the accepted special sessions are arranged in alphabetical order below. The titles are linked to pdf documents containing further information about the session.

Please contact the session convener(s) if you are interested in presenting a paper during one of the sessions.

After March 31, any late submissions of abstracts should be sent directly to iis2009@iisoc.org.
Late abstracts, as well as abstracts dealing with interdisciplinary and interthematic subjects that do not fit in any of the sessions may be placed in one of the General Sessions.
