Onsite Registration/The Congress Secretariat
The Congress Secretariat with the registration and information desk is located in the vault on the north wing of Linneanum (SCAS, Thunbergsvägen 2) on Sunday, June 9 between 10:00 and 14:00, and adjacent to the seminar rooms of the English Park Campus (UU, Thunbergsvägen 3) on Monday, June 10, between 09:00 and 13:00.

We recommend that you read the below information and General Terms and Conditions for Payment and Cancellations and Refunds regarding registration, accommodation and social events carefully before filling in the registration form and that you have a credit card ready for the hotel reservation and/or payment for the congress. The electronic transaction is secure, and your credit card information is encrypted during the registration process.

REGISTRATION FEES
All fees stated are excluding VAT (25%).
The registration fees are divided into categories A and B, based on the World Bank’s main criterion for classification of economies, the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita.
The "A" category contains countries with GNI per capita of 12,476 USD or more, while the "B" category includes countries with GNI per capita of and below 12,475 USD. (Category "B" includes the World Bank’s categories of low, lower middle, middle and upper middle income countries together).
Please visit the World Bank website to see the classification of countries according to GNI per capita.
* Participants in ISA RC/WG/TG sessions are members of an International Sociological Association Research Committee/Working Group/Thematic Group who present a paper in a special interim session organized by that research committee/working group/thematic group. Non-members should contact the session convener for details.

*** Accompanying guests are allowed to attend sessions but not to present papers or chair sessions

General Terms and Conditions for Payment, and Cancellations and Refunds
PAYMENT
Payment must be made in advance of the congress.*
Swedish delegates
• Swedish delegates can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice. If you choose to pay by invoice, an administrative fee of SEK 100 will be added. You will receive your invoice by regular mail. If you would like your invoice to be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, please unmark the tick box on the payment page of the registration form.
• VAT will be added according to Swedish legislation and routines.
Delegates from outside Sweden
• According to Swedish legislation and routines, VAT will be added also for delegates from outside Sweden.
• All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
• Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer
• Upon choice of the payment method "Bank transfer" on the registration form, you will receive an invoice together with your confirmation letter, including bank transfer information such as bank account, IBAN, etc. The confirmation letter and invoice will be sent as pdf attachments by e-mail.
• Please note that we accept the following credit cards: VISA, Master Card and American Express (VISA Electron or Maestro are not accepted). The Internet credit card service provider sometimes have trouble with Safari. We recommend the web browser Firefox with Mac OS.
• We will not accept any bank charge deductions
• Unfortunately we cannot accept payment by bank cheques or euro cheques
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Academic Conferences, by e-mail: iis2013@akademikonferens.uu.se or by fax: +46 18 67 35 30. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until May 14, 2013, up to which date the total amount will be refunded minus SEK 750 for cancellation fee. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after May 14, 2013, nor for no-shows for any reasons.
Cancellation of Hotel Reservation
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Academic Conferences, by e-mail: iis2013@akademikonferens.uu.se or by fax: +46 18 67 35 30. Cancellation of any hotel reservation will be accepted until 14 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is received later than this date, or in case of no-show, the hotel will charge your credit card for the whole stay reserved.
Cancellation of Social Event Registration
Notification of cancellation of registration for the Post Congress Tour must be made in writing and sent to Academic Conferences, by e-mail: iis2013@akademikonferens.uu.se or by fax: +46 18 67 35 30. Cancellation of registration for the Post Congress Tour will be accepted until May 14, 2013, up to which date the total amount will be refunded. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after May 14, 2013, nor for no-shows for any reasons. If you wish to cancel your participation in the Guided Tour, which is free of charge, please let us know at your earliest convenience so that your place could be offered to someone else.
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact Academic Conferences by e-mail: iis2013@akademikonferens.uu.se or by fax: +46 18 67 35 30 as soon as possible. An administration fee of SEK 250 will be charged.
Changes to your Hotel Reservation
If you need to change your reservation, please contact Academic Conferences by e-mail: iis2013@akademikonferens.uu.se or by fax: +46 18 67 35 30. Please also see the cancellation rules above.
*The sole exception is for hotel reservations, which must be paid for directly to the hotel on-site, either by cash or by credit card. Please note that in order to guarantee accommodation you need to state your credit card details on the registration form. The information will only be used in case of no-show or late cancellation.
