Accommodation and Prices

As a service for IIS Congress delegates, the Stockholm Convention Bureau, StoCon, will arrange your hotel accommodation at no extra charge.

StoCon has made block bookings in selected hotels in the centre of Stockholm. Rooms are booked in various sizes and price categories. All hotel rooms offer private bath/shower, TV and radio. The hotels are located within walking distance to the congress venue, Stockholm City Conference Centre/Norra Latin. Those wishing to stay in youth hostels should arrange their own accommodations.

Since a certain number of hotel rooms in each hotel have been reserved, StoCon will operate on a "first come - first serve" basis with incoming requests. We advise you to book your room as soon as possible. You make your hotel reservation on the same form for which you register to the 37th IIS Congress.

Your reservation will be confirmed when StoCon has received your registration form together with your credit card number to guarantee your reservation. All hotel costs are to be settled directly to the hotel, unless other information is stated in the upcoming confirmation letter.

Please note: The deadline for hotel reservation is May 30th, 2005. After this date room reservation or preferential rate cannot be guaranteed. Also note that you must register to attend the Congress at the same time you make your hotel reservation.

The following hotels are available for IIS delegates. Rates are given in SEK, and include breakfast buffet. Taxes or official charges are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation of your hotel reservation

For cancellations made before May 30th an administration fee of SEK 500 will be charged to the credit card mentioned in the hotel reservation form. For cancellations made after the above mentioned date the first two nights will be charged to your credit card.

N.B! An administration fee of SEK 300 per room will be charged from your credit card for every modification requested after June 20th 2005.

Low Budget Hotels and Youth Hostels in Stockholm

As no pre-reservations are possible through Stockholm Convention Bureau, you are advised to contact the budget hotels and the youth hostels directly.
