Björn Wittrock is Principal of the Collegium and as University Professor also a Permanent Fellow of SCAS. The other two Fellows permanently at SCAS are Professors Barbro Klein (Stockholm University) and Göran Therborn (Göteborg University). These three scholars, drawing on the advice of a large number of external referees and of members of the International Advisory Board, are jointly responsible for decisions concerning the fellowship programme but also for the seminar programme and other aspects of the research orientation of the Collegium. The Principal represents the Collegium vis-à-vis other institutes and agencies and is authorised to enter into agreements with them on behalf of the Collegium.
